Bhinneka Tunggal Ika

Fascinated by the significant impact of a single atom on what surrounds it, the young artist dissects interactions between energy and living or inanimate entities.

Mixing immersive experiences and taste for discoveries, her work demonstrates a deep curiosity and an appetence for exploring matter in all its complexity.

Art and science for the environmental cause

Through her monumental installations, Andrita Yuniza Orbandi gives a second life to organic wastes. She highlights that before becoming garbage, these materials were part of a natural biotope supporting the life of other organisms such as animals and humans. The artist aims to raise public awareness of the environmental cause and encourage people to reverse the current paradigm to create an alternative earth.

The artist also tackles through her work the inescapable negative events facing humanity, such as war, poverty and climate disruption where she suggests taking part in intellectual activities that encourage reflection and action.
